I'm so relieved that our country is not so incredibly backward after all!!!! Unfortunately for all of my European friends, I won't be moving over there just yet. :)

- I'm an atheist with morals and sympathy, imagine that! Aside from that, I'm very concerned with fitness. More specifically, I've gotten very into running as of late. I ran my first half marathon in October 2008 and I was planning on running my first full marathon in April 2009, but I've now suffered a couple of minor injuries and will have to look for a different marathon to do. I've (barely) completed 3 sprint triathlons and would like to do some more. I love to read and I have a wonderful dog named Cantaloupe. :)

I only hope, seeing as he'll inherit a bigger mess that pretty much any President ever, that Obama has a fair crack of the whip, and a fair chance to prove himself. He deserves it..,

I'm not cynical - I think this is an historic moment, Anna. I'm just hoping the achievements match the rhetoric.
Keep your "lies" and "life" out of good Christian blogs. Be truly tolerant, not "my way or the highway" tolerant of this modern age.

I would appreciate if you would inform me where it is you think that I have posted something that suggests that I have "my way or the highway" sort of attitude. It would be helpful for me to refute you if you give me a specific example. I don't believe I have exemplified such qualities so it would be much appreciated if you would point out where you think I have.

Jonathan, I know, but I wanted him to be specific about what it was that I said that made him think that I have a "my way or the highway" type of attitude when all I did was ask her to re-evaluate her views.
Well, I moved to the UK in September, and if you ever make your way past Oxford, I'd be happy to buy you a beer. I just tuned in to your blog today...I like your attitude and the well-constructed thought you put into your posts here. Plus, you're terribly cute ).
